We are looking for a few promoters for a new club (tentatively named “Voyd”) on 10th Avenue and 21st Street in Manhattan. This will be an exclusive new spot built inside the historical aluminum smelting plant that used to be there. The club is still under construction but we’re looking forward to high end design throughout complete with laser grids, purple velvet, wall-to-wall subwoofers, metal railings, the works.
As any promoter knows though, the most important thing about a club is its clientele. We need to bring in the young money millionaires that make New York City the place to be (and to be seen!). But, just as we can only have a certain type of clubgoer, we can also have a certain kind of promoter. We’re looking for a guy with good street hype skills, elite contacts, and proficiency in the ancient art of the plug. Also:
Do you have a chinstrap beard? If not, can you grow one? A single-file line of hair, sideburn to sideburn is generally what’s preferred.
How good is your photo-op peace sign pop? When someone takes out a Canon are you slow on the draw or ready to snap that peace sign out like the armistice depended on it?
Goose or Belvedere? Tiesto or Taio Cruz?
How good are you at wearing sunglasses at night? This is a must.
What are you favorite club tracks?
Who is the coolest person you know?
Are you willing to maintain a level of professionalism when it comes to what you may or may not see happen in our bathrooms?
Do you know a lot of girls that can pass for 18?
Please answer these questions and include a short description of yourself and what you like about Manhattan’s night life. Good candidates will be able to work 2 – 4 nights per week and the compensation is dependent on how many people you bring in.
